Pogba, on the other hand, is a global football icon and is set to confirm the deal.
The 31-year-old midfielder, a 2018 World Cup winner with France, has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Manchester United and Juventus.
In September 2023, Pogba was provisionally suspended by Italy’s National Anti-Doping Agency after testing positive for DHEA, a banned substance that boosts testosterone levels.
