Kenya Sevens players are still coming to terms with the harsh realities of changes made to the Sevens Circuit but one of their former team-mates seems to be enjoying life away from the game.
Alvin Otieno, who earned the name Buffa, for his hard tackles and hand-offs that left his opponents on the ground, akin to a buffalo, has been missing in action for nearly three years.
Otieno surprised many when he quietly left the country at a time his rugby career was at its peak, having earned global acclaim for his powerful performances on the World Rugby Sevens Series with reports indicating that he went abroad to study.
