The Serbian gaffer Stojanovic Dusan vowed to work hard, promising to transform Kenya Police FC into a top African team.
FKF Premier League champions Kenya Police FC have announced the appointment of Serbian coach Stojanovic Dusan as their new head coach.
The 44-year-old was officially unveiled before the media on Sunday evening at the club’s Police Sacco Stadium, following the law enforcers’ 0-0 draw with Posta Rangers at the same venue.
Dusan, who replaces Burundian Etienne Ndayiragije, expressed his excitement at joining the club and promised to give his all in steering the team to greater heights.
“We can promise that we will always work hard and we will never give up but always fight for what is our target and goal. Thank you for coming here and I hope we will be in good relations,” the former SC Villa head coach said as per Capital Sport.

AFC Leopards Extend Unbeaten Run to 14 Matches After Dominant Win Over Mathare United
Ingwe continued their sparkling league form, extending their unbeaten run to 14 matches after another composed and dominant home performance.
The Serbian coach admitted he was attracted by the project outlined by the club’s management and is confident in his ability to transform Kenya Police into one of Africa’s elite teams.
A Project That Enticed
“It was the project (what convinced me)…where we are now and where we want to be is very clear and that is to be in the top of the continent,” Dusan stated.
Dusan comes with relative coaching experience in Africa, having guided Ugandan side SC Villa to their 17th league title in the 2023/24 season.
He has also served as an assistant at Egyptian giants Zamalek under compatriot Milutin Sredojevic and Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera.
However, he admitted his knowledge of the Kenya Premier League is limited, noting that he has mostly relied on online research to learn about his new challenge.
“I will be honest with you on that I don’t have much experience. I was watching the highlights on the Internet and I know this is not much. However, I have gathered information from the last match we played in the continent against Al Hilal. That is all,” the UEFA A license holder said.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone Reveals Audacious 400m Record Plan
The American has shared her fatigue battle secrets and her next goals: the 400m world record and a sub-49 400m hurdles time.
Eyes on Immediate Impact
Despite Kenya Police failing to find the net against Posta Rangers, Dusan is optimistic about the team’s potential and believes goals will soon come under his guidance.
“For now everything is perfect…except the result. The boys were giving everything on the field of play but what was lacking was the goals but I hope that in the time ahead, we will be able to work on that,” he remarked.
The Serbian’s appointment signals the club’s ambition to not only dominate domestically but also establish a strong presence on the continental stage.
