According to the Stanbic Uganda Cup Regulations (the 47th Edition 2020/21), Article 45 (Revenue Sharing) permits for 40% apiece of the hosts and the visitors, with FUFA taking 20% of the gate collections.

Kitara FC hit their first-ever semifinal of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after eliminating defending champions Vipers SC at the Masindi Municipal Stadium, on Sunday.

The Royals squeezed through courtesy of post-match penalties which they won 5-4 after it had ended in a two-all stalemate in 120 minutes of mouthwatering and cracking action.

Yunus Sentamu and Bright Anukani scored for the Venoms, while Paul Mucureezi needed a brace from the spot to salvage a draw for Kitara in normal time.

In front of their loyal faithful, Kitara declared they realized Shs. 19,985,000 million from the gate collections.

However, the monies will not all go to the club's accounts, as the FUFA Regulations providing for sharing with the latter and the visiting team (Vipers).

“Revenue collected from sale of gate collections shall be shared as follows after deduction of operational expenses as determined and communicated by the FCC (FUFA Competitions Committee); Home Club 40%, Away Club 40%, FUFA 20%”

“Where the Home Club has engaged the services of a Match Agent, the remuneration for the Match Agent shall strictly be met by the Home Club from its share of gate collections."

The same has applied to all the home teams in the competition all season, for the entire rounds.

Meanwhile, in the semifinals, Kitara join Pajule Lions, BUL FC and NEC FC in the Last Four of the 50th edition of the Uganda Cup.
