With four matches to the end of the Liga F season, the Super Falcons forward is second on the scorers' chart with 20 goals.

Nigeria's Asisat Oshoala was on the scoresheet yet again, as Barcelona Femeni were on Sunday, crowned as the 2022/23 champions of the Women’s Spanish Primera Division (Liga F).

The Super Falcons striker who came on as a second-half substitute in Barcelona's game against Sporting Huelva, wrapped things up for the Spanish giants with a stoppage time after Lala Codina and Jana Fenanadez had given the side a 2-0 lead.

A fourth consecutive league title for Oshoala

It becomes the fourth consecutive league title for the Nigerian striker who joined the Spanish side in 2019 from Chinese champions Dalian Quanjian.

Prior to joining Barcelona in 2019, the Spanish had won the league title on eight occasions, with Oshoala helping them to four more between then to date.

With four matches to the end of the Liga F season, the Super Falcons forward is second on the scorers' chart with 20 goals, trailing Levante's Alba Ferrer Redondo by four goals.

Last season, the Nigerian scored 20 goals in 19 league appearances to become the first African woman to win the highest goalscorer gong in the Spanish Primera Division.
