Bunyore were denied a home win by Wadadia and they remained seventh on the table.

Ulinzi Starlets extended their unbeaten run in the FKF Women's Premier League in style when they beat hosts Kisumu All Starlets 2-1 at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday afternoon.

Victory saw the Soldiers climb to the third spot on the league standings while Kisumu remained eighth on the 12-team table.

Monica Etot opened the scoring in the 16th minute to hand Kisumu a 1-0 lead, but four minutes later, the visitors managed to level matters through Phina Odiro.

After the break, Ulinzi opted to channel their best efforts down the flanks, and there were signs that the All-Starlets' defence had difficulty containing the attacks.

The pressure took its toll in the 82nd minute when the unmarked Neddy Atieno rounded off splendidly after a strong move down the right flank to make it 2-1.

The victory moved Ulinzi to 29 points from 15 matches, while Kisumu remained on 17 points from the same number of games.

Meanwhile, Wadadia showed their resilience once again after they fought back from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw with Bunyore Starlets at Mumboha Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Rashid Suba's side created plenty of chances but trailed to Irene Madalina's opener in the 40th minute of the match.

However, in the closing stages of the match, Wadadia piled pressure on their hosts, and they were rewarded in the 88th-minute courtesy of Tabitha Sisiwa's strike and breaking the hearts of the Bunyore players in the process.
