Okere on Three-way Title Race

The Brewers are staying grounded under Okere, who has urged his squad to remain focused despite the fierce three-way battle for the title.
Okere's charges are on a good run of form that has come at the right time for FKFPL’s second most decorated team.
Their last league outing saw the side narrowly overcome Nairobi City Stars to place at the summit, as Okere played down title talks.
"It’s too early to talk about winning the title or say we’re in pole position. That kind of talk can easily derail us. Right now, the focus is on taking it one game at a time and maintaining our concentration," he told Citizen Digital.

'I Would Rob a Bank for Jose' - Benni McCarthy on How Mourinho Helped Him Heal from a Painful Past
Benni McCarthy has revealed how Jose Mourinho restored his love for football and helped him heal from past struggles, earning his lifelong loyalty.
The Brewers had faltered earlier in the campaign, relinquishing the helm to Kenya Police.
Okere, however, assures that the team has now matured.
"We’ve matured. Against Bidco United, Posta Rangers, and Ulinzi Stars, we scored early and saw out the matches. Apart from the Mara Sugar game, where we conceded a late equalizer, our ability to manage games has really improved," he noted.
Okere also noted the added advantage of playing their fixtures at home, stating, "Playing at home has really boosted our confidence. We’re yet to lose here this year."
The Task Ahead
)
Okere's men face an uphill task to maintain their stay at the top against Gor Mahia and Kenya Police.
The Brewers face Mathare United on Sunday, and Okere has urged caution.
"We’re playing Mathare away, and we’re going for a win. But I’ve reminded the boys not to underestimate them. They may not be fighting relegation, but they’re still a dangerous team with quality. We must be sharp," he warned.
The tactician and his charges will look to implement their title run-in strategy and secure a 14th league title.
