The 100m world champion took to her Instagram to express her feelings about her continued absence from the track.

"To be at a track meet and not running is interesting," she said in a video posted to her Instagram story.

The video was accompanied by a one-word reaction: "soon," hinting at her possible return to the track on the horizon.

The American sprint queen is yet to release her season's campaign calendar.

Reports, however, indicate she will be using her boyfriend Coleman's and teammate Twanisha Terry's schedules.

The pair released an almost similar schedule, with Coleman already having opened his season and expected to next participate at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 26.

Richardson is expected to join Coleman at the Seiko Grand Prix Tokyo on May 18.

As anticipation builds for her eventual showdown with the likes of Julien Alfred, Shericka Jackson, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Richardson continues to look forward to her return to the track.
