A section of Shabana FC fans were on the end of some rough treatment during their team’s clash against Muhoroni Youth on Saturday.

Shabana were on the end of yet another defeat when they fell to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Muhoroni Youth at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay but some of their fans went home nursing more pain following a scuffle.

According to video posted on social media, objects could be seen being hurled in the stands before security personnel roughed up some fans in what was an ugly end to the FKF Premier League contest.

Shabana suffered their ninth loss of the season when Samwel Adebowale’s goal in the 68th minute gave Muhoroni Youth all three points.

Defeat left the Glamour Boys 16th in the table on 14 points from 17 matches and just one more than bottom side Nzoia Sugar.

A total of 1,507 fans attended the match with the club selling 624 VIP and 883 regular tickets, translating into Ksh275,000 for the club.

It was an improved attendance from their last home game when the club managed Ksh220,700 from 1,227 fans in December.

The club is planning for major clear-out to create room for new arrivals during the January transfer window and are also reported to have convinced Nairobi City Stars coach Nicholas Muyoti to join them from next week.
