Tammy Abraham and AS Roma were heartbroken in the Europa League and the Italians are ready to rebuild their club.

According to TalkSport, Roma could be forced to let the former Chelsea forward and other players at the club go for financial reasons.

Roma put Abraham up for sale

The Serie A club will look to rebuild after suffering heartbreak in UEFA’s second tier club competition on Wednesday night.

Roma suffered a 4-1 defeat via penalty shootout after letting a 1-0 lead slip as Sevilla proved to be the kings of Europa League once again.

That result means Roma are under scrutiny regarding financial fair play after failing to make it to the Champions League.

Premier League clubs on alert

With Roma keen to listen to offers for the English forward, Premier League sides and other European clubs have been put on alert.

Tammy Abraham has scored 36 goals in all comps for Roma.

Manchester United are one of the clubs that have been linked with Abraham as the Red Devils are in the market for a striker as Erik Ten Hag looks to solve his club's goalscoring problems.

The striker can also return to his former club Chelsea who have a buy-back clause inserted during his contract at Roma.

The 25-year-old was a £34 million signing from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 after he became surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Abraham has scored 36 goals in 106 appearances for Roma since making that move two years ago.
