The former Menzamwenye Stars predator showed that his exploits were no flash in the pan as he once again reclaimed his spot at the top of the charts.

SS Assad forward Beja Nyamawi has promised fans more fireworks in the remaining six National Super League (NSL) matches.

The marksman has been on everyone's lips for his accuracy in front of goal, having found the back of the net 16 times in the current season.

In an interview, the former Menzamwenye Stars striker expressed his delight at his achievements.

"I am happy to be the leading goalscorer in the league.I promise Assad fans that I will make sure I score at every opportunity for my team. I won't always score but I will try my level best to make sure every chance will be counted," he said.

Despite SS Assad's current position of 14th in the standings, with nine wins from 25 matches, Beja remains optimistic about their future. 

The 23-year-old assured fans that the team is working hard to climb up the table and finish the season in a better position. 

"I would like to tell our fans that despite the poor position on the table, we are working hard to move up places on the log," Beja affirmed.

The forward's most recent accomplishment came on Wednesday when he scored the winning goal against rivals Mombasa Elite at Mbaraki Sports Club.

The lone strike came in the sixth minute of the match in a win that saw him reclaim the top spot in the goalscorers chat from Vihiga United's Amos Kigadi.

With only six matches remaining in the season, Beja's determination to continue scoring goals will be vital for SS Assad's push to climb up the league standings. 

His hunger for success and his promise to the fans indicate that he will leave no stone unturned in his quest to significantly impact the team's fortunes.

Fans can expect more thrilling performances and goals from Beja as he strives to lead his team to success in the remaining matches of the season.
