Chalobah revealed that their main goal as a club was to make a mark at the Club World Cup and was glad to have achieved the feat, going into the final.

He lauded all the players for their collective effort in making the dream come true, noting that they have been dedicated and given their all.

“We’re over the moon. It’s been one of our goals since the first game of the tournament, and it’s nice to get into the final,” Chalobah said as per Chelsea FC.

“All we can manage is what happens on the pitch, and the boys have done that well throughout this tournament. Now we have one more step.”

He was also impressed by new signing João Pedro, who brought the MetLife Stadium to life with two goals of the highest calibre against Fluminense. Another star, Liam Delap, also caught the eye of Trevor Chalobah.

“They have both fitted in well. They have both come into the team and played like they’ve been here for years. It’s good to have that type of quality and add it to a strong group. We’re really happy for them,” he added.

Now, with only two teams remaining from the original 32, Chelsea are just one win away from clinching the world title.

Despite the high stakes and the strength of their final opponents, Trevor Chalobah has insisted that the team’s preparation for Sunday’s final will remain steady and focused. He stated that they would prepare the same way they had been preparing for every game.

“Nothing changes, no matter the opponent we play, we will prepare the same. It will be exciting to play one of the best teams in the world, and we will be ready,” he added.

With the stage set for a thrilling final against Paris Saint-Germain, Trevor Chalobah's unwavering confidence and Chelsea's consistent preparation paint a clear picture that they are ready.

Having achieved their initial goal of reaching the final, the Blues are fueled by collective effort and the impactful performances of new talents like João Pedro and Liam Delap.
