Napoli has rejected Galatasaray’s latest structured bid for Victor Osimhen, escalating tensions with the Nigerian striker.

Napoli has reportedly rejected Galatasaray's latest bid for Victor Osimhen and issued a stern warning to the Nigerian striker.

Osimhen shone on loan at Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists en route to a league and cup double.

This impressive form sparked Galatasaray's desire to sign him permanently.

The Turkish champions fended off competition from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal and other European clubs.

Osimhen agreed to a lucrative €16 million annual salary, but negotiations with Napoli over the transfer fee have stalled.

Galatasaray's initial €55 million offer was swiftly rejected, as was a subsequent €60 million bid.

Napoli remained firm on Osimhen's €75 million release clause.

While Galatasaray eventually agreed to the full amount, their proposed payment plan of five installments was also rejected.

Napoli further demanded a bank guarantee for the full fee, contributing to the ongoing impasse.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli has now rejected a revised offer of €40 million upfront and €35 million in two installments.

Reports from Italian and Turkish media suggest Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is now demanding a 20 perecent sell-on clause.

It remains unclear whether Galatasaray, who reportedly promised Osimhen a potential move to a top European club before his contract expires, will accept these new terms.

As Napoli players begin pre-season medical checks, Osimhen is conspicuously absent.

He has reportedly submitted a medical report justifying his absence, citing frustration with the club's handling of the situation.

Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that Napoli has ordered Osimhen to return for pre-season training or face disciplinary action.

Osimhen has been spending his off-season in Lagos, Nigeria. Should he return to Napoli, he is expected to train separately from the first team, excluded from tactical drills.

Romano has also dismissed rumors linking Osimhen to Manchester United, confirming that the Red Devils are unwilling to meet Napoli's financial demands and are pursuing other targets.
