Tusker will play Wazito at the Muhoroni Stadium tomorrow.

Tusker FC captain Humphrey Mieno has warned his teammates to be mentally prepared to face Wazito at a ‘hostile environment’, the Muhoroni Stadium on Sunday.

The Brewers will be seeking to maintain their slender one-point lead over Gor Mahia by getting all three points against a rejuvenated Wazito, who are scrambling to stay in sixteenth place to qualify for the relegation playoffs.

“We are psyched up and ready to go because we know how important this game is to us coming to the close of the season, ” Mieno said.

The 33-year-old midfield general, however, insists that the team's morale is very high in training ahead of their showdown.

"The team morale is very high and the lads are looking forward to this match because we know the importance of this game. We are trying to retain this title. We are in a good space," he added.

“If you are in the right place mentally and ready to go, You can win. It will not be an easy game because they are trying to survive relegation and we are trying to win the league. We expect a very tough match. If you are mentally ready, you will carry the day.

“I urge everyone to be mentally prepared for this match. We might encounter a hostile environment so I think if we are mentally strong, we can win this match.”

Tusker are first on 65 points, one ahead of title rivals Gor Mahia who themselves will face a stern test when they face Ulinzi Stars at the Kasarani Stadium tomorrow.
