He expressed a desire to feature more regularly on the pitch and emphasized his frustration at having to contend with competition for places in the midfield, saying, Eriksen was quoted as saying, “I’ve had a talk with Erik about being unhappy with the situation and wanting to play as much as possible.”

Acknowledging Competition

Eriksen acknowledged the impressive performances of Kobee Mainoo and the rest of the midfielders at Manchester United, highlighting the intense competition for starting position and was quoted as saying, “He said Kobee Mainoo is doing well, and the rest of the midfield is also performing well, so there is competition for places.”

While Eriksen remains committed to contributing to the team's success, he admitted to concerns about his future at Manchester United.
