Newly-promoted Kenyan National Super League (NSL) side APS Bomet may be forced to play their home matches outside Bomet County if the unfinished 37,000-seat stadium isn't completed before the start of next season's FKF Premier League (FKFPL).
Construction on the IAAF-standard stadium began in 2014 under former governor Isaac Ruto but stalled, leaving it without essential features like a perimeter wall.
Last season, the football federation was reluctant to allow APS FC to use the ground unless fan behavior improved, particularly regarding pitch invasions.
