FKF Premier League double-header in Machakos called off due to waterlogged pitch
Two FKFPL matches at Kenyatta Stadium have been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch caused by overnight rains in Machakos.
The sides cancelled each other out in midfield after the break, and Salim Babu made a defensive and tactical change just after the restart by bringing David Owino off the bench to replace Braian Okoth.
The game opened up after that as Salim Odeka had a chance for Homeboyz with a header in the box that was smothered by Matasi after a cross by Brian Chala.
Police also stretched themselves going forward and their efforts were rewarded at hour mark with a great finish from South Sudan international Tito Okello.
