The 5 Youngest Managers at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup features a new generation of tactically gifted young managers.
“But it’s not a criticism, just a situation that could have been different because being up 2-0 and then conceding the equaliser with 10 minutes left left us with a bitter taste.

Was That Lionel Messi’s Final Game?
)
Lionel Messi may have played his final game on the global stage, bowing out with a 4-0 defeat for Inter Miami against his former club, Paris St-Germain, in the Club World Cup final in Atlanta.
Despite the loss, the 38-year-old Argentinian, arguably the greatest player of all time, still showcased flashes of brilliance.
Inter Miami manager Javier Mascherano acknowledged this after the game, saying, “PSG are in top form, champions of everything, but people still buy tickets to see Leo Messi, even at 38.”
The question remains: was this Messi's last appearance on a global stage? His contract with Inter Miami expires at the end of 2025, and his participation in the 2026 World Cup, to be held in the US, Mexico, and Canada, is uncertain.
While Argentina teammate Nicolas Otamendi and Inter Miami colleague Luis Suarez believe Messi will play until at least then, Guillem Balague, Messi's biographer, admits, “Nobody knows, least of all Messi himself.”
Balague noted that Messi's family is settled in Miami, and he is reportedly in talks to extend his contract with Inter Miami.

Cristiano Ronaldo Hints at Partner Georgina Rodriguez's Thoughts on Al Nassr Contract Extension
Cristiano Ronaldo subtly acknowledged Georgina Rodriguez's feelings as he confirmed his contract extension with Al Nassr.
"He's taking it game by game, tournament by tournament," Balague explained as quoted by BBC Sport. "If he renews and stays in America, he'll assess the situation when he needs to. For now, it's one step at a time. Everyone wants to see him lead Argentina at the World Cup next year, but he hasn't revealed his final decision.”
Having finally captured the elusive World Cup title in Qatar last year, Messi silenced any remaining doubters about his status as the greatest ever. He is the only captain to have lifted the trophy twice.
This may well have been Messi's last match on a truly global stage. If he remains at Inter Miami, his club games will likely be confined to North American audiences. The next Club World Cup is not until 2029, when Lionel Messi will be 42.
