The evergreen Harambee Stars midfielder did not have sufficient time to influence the outcome of the match.

Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada came on as a substitute as Aalborg beat Kolding IF 1-0 on Saturday.

Odada came on in the 85th minute and did not really have enough time to change the outcome of the game, just a week after he was unceremoniously hooked off at half time in their win over  B.93.

Aalborg had difficulty getting the game flowing in a match with few chances.

13 minutes had to pass before Malthe Højholt set up Melker Widell for the first real chance of the game, but a long shot from the Swede was not precise enough..

In the 30th minute, Aalborg got the game's first finish within the frame when Nicklas Helenius headed a corner kick towards goal, but the header was right in the arms of the Kolding goalkeeper.

At the opposite end, Kolding IF suddenly had a great opportunity when Aalborg keeper Josip Posavec mishit a pass straight to Mike Vestergård, but the latter's subsequent attempts failed.

The league leaders did eventually go in front in the 44th minute when Diego Caballo aimed at Rasmus Thelander at the back post from a corner kick before heading the ball home.

The game became a damp squib although Aalborg did create three half-chances, before they opted to make changes to see out the tight encounter.

Jakob Ahlmann, Oliver Ross and Kenyan Richard Odada were substituted in place of Diego Caballo, Younes Bakiz and Sebastian Otoa.

Three minutes into added time, Josip Posavec pulled off a great save from a long shot and a minute later the home team were awarded a penalty kick.

Posavec proved the hero when he grabbed Christian Kudsk's attempt at a Panenka to give them all the three points.
