Harambee Stars set to compete in Four Nations tournament, aiming for victory and preparation for World Cup AFCON qualifiers.

Harambee Stars will take on Malawi in the opening match of the highly anticipated Four Nations Tournament at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, Malawi.

The tournament, orchestrated by Malawi, will also feature Zambia and Zimbabwe squaring off on the first day, Saturday, March 23, at the same prestigious venue.

As the tournament unfolds, the victors of these initial clashes will advance to the grand finale, while the teams not making the cut vying for third place in a play-off scheduled for Tuesday, March 26.

Adding to the fervor, the tournament will concurrently run an U20 version mirroring the senior team's format.

The Harambee Stars squad, meticulously selected by coach Engin Firat, comprises 27 formidable players.

This tournament is not merely a series of matches for the Harambee Stars but a pivotal phase in their preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

Parallel to the senior squad's aspirations, the Kenya U-20 team, under the astute guidance of Salim Babu, is gearing up for their own challenge.

Babu is tasked with sculpting a robust squad from his initial selections, with preparations intensifying since the team convened on Monday, March 11, 2024.
