Gor Mahia have hinted at the venue for this weekend’s Mashemeji Derby as they look to host AFC Leopards in a high stakes FKF Premier League clash.
Gor Mahia have revealed where they intend to host the Mashemeji Derby as they look to continue their impressive league run.
K’Ogalo are coming off a morale-boosting 1-0 victory against Shabana FC on Sunday and will look to add AFC Leopards to their list of casualties this weekend when the two sides clash in the next installment of the Mashemeji Derby on Sunday May 11.
However, it is still not confirmed where the match will be played but Gor Mahia seem to have given a hint that Kasarani Stadium will host the match amid the ongoing renovations at the facility.

Harambee Stars Forward Faces Uncertain Future as Iranian Club Wants Him Out Soon
The Kenyan striker looks to have just over two weeks left before he starts looking for a new club as his current team is reportedly not interested in retaining his services.
Kasarani, just like Nyayo Stadium, has been closed since last year for an upgrade as Kenya prepares for the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024) and it is yet to host a match since.
There had been reports that it would host Leopards and Gor Mahia in March but that did not happen as the facility was deemed not ready before a compromise was later struck and Nyayo cleared to host the game.
Now, with Nyayo Stadium under renovation, especially with the tartan track being laid, Kasarani is the only venue left to host the game and Gor Mahia seem to be confident that it will stage the match, given they are the home team this time.

It is, however, still not officially confirmed if indeed Kasarani will play host to the high stakes match even though K’Ogalo seem confident.
