FKF Cup Round of 32 clashes pits defending champions Kenya Police against MOFA while AFC Leopards take on Mara Sugar in thrilling encounters.

The FKF Cup defending champions, Kenya Police, are eager to continue their title defense as they face Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) at the Jomo Kenyatta Mamboleo Stadium in Kisumu.

With a recent 3-0 victory over Superior Hotel, Kenya Police are looking to carry their momentum forward.

Mohammed Bajaber was the hero in the last match, scoring twice, while David Irishura also added his name to the scoresheet.

Kenya Police, coached by Etienne Ndayiragije, are determined to bounce back after a recent dip in form.

Having lost and drawn two of their previous league matches, they saw their impressive 13-match unbeaten streak come to an end.

Now, they’ll be hoping to regain their winning touch in the cup, with the goal of defending their title.

Standing in their way is MOFA, who have been impressive in their own right.

The National Super League (NSL) side made an impressive entry into the Round of 32 with a dominant 4-0 win over Shalima.

Like Police, MOFA has also been struggling in league action, managing just one win in their last five matches, alongside two draws and two losses.

Both teams will be looking for a morale-boosting result to help them turn around their fortunes.

In other FKF Cup action, AFC Leopards will face off with fellow FKF Premier League side, Mara Sugar, at the same venue in Kisumu.

Leopards are coming off a routine 3-1 win against Nyanza-based Division Two side Dero FC in the preliminary round.

The team, managed by Fred Ambani, has been unbeaten in their last five league matches, winning two and drawing three.

They will be hoping to build on this form and progress further in the competition.

Mara Sugar, however, are no pushovers. They are coming off a solid 2-0 win over Webuye Sportiff and will be looking to cause an upset against Leopards.

Meanwhile, at Dandora Stadium, Tusker FC will face Nairobi United in what promises to be an intriguing encounter.

The Brewers are eager to bounce back from a series of disappointing results, with their only win in the last five matches coming in the FKF Cup, where they triumphed 2-1 over Gucha Youth.

Tusker, under the guidance of coach Charles Okere, will be looking to get back to winning ways against Nairobi United.

Other key fixtures in the Round of 32 include KCB taking on HOHA FC at Kipchoge Keino, Bandari facing Al-Azizia FC at Mbaraki Sports Club, and Kariobangi Sharks hosting Zetech Titans at the same venue.

With a thrilling mix of top-tier and lower-league sides, the FKF Cup promises to be a weekend of exciting football as teams battle for glory and a chance to lift the prestigious trophy.
