The crucial top-of-the-table clash will be played at Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.

Tusker FC striker Deogracious Ojok has expressed his strong belief that the Brewers will produce a positive result when they play Gor Mahia on Sunday.

The Brewers are set to make a short trip to Nyayo National Stadium, where they are scheduled to face K'Ogalo in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match just a week after booking the FKF Cup final.

Ojok is heading into this encounter brimming with confidence that his side is capable of cruising past the fancied Gor Mahia.

"Since we are on top of the league standing right now this is something that we should maintain. We are just now looking for the Sunday game of which we are all motivated to win the game so that we can maintain the top spot," he said.

"We are all confident because we all know what it means to be on top of the league. Our aim is to take the points home as we keep pushing for the league title."

Tusker will be looking to set the record straight as they lost to Gor Mahia 2-1 in the first leg match played on February 8 at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Robert Matano's side have only lost once since then, and a 1-0 victory over Kariobangi Sharks on May 13 extended their winning streak in the league to five matches.

The Brewers are one point ahead of second-placed Gor Mahia with four matches to the end of the 2022/2023 football season.
