The Law Enforcers finished third last season, their highest-ever placing and a significant improvement from the ninth position the campaign before.

Kenya Police FC CEO Chris Onguso has revealed the club’s plan to lift next season’s FKF Premier League title as well as participate in the CAF Champions League.

The Law Enforcers finished last season third, their highest-ever placing and a significant improvement from the ninth position they achieved in their first campaign after promotion to the top flight in 2021.

However, it was not without spending extemporaneously on a lot of vastly experienced Kenya internationals.

Last December, they extended their one-year sponsorship deal with airline service Air 748, which gave them the financial muscle to make the signings.

In the last year, Police have added the likes of Clifton Miheso, Elvis Rupia, Abud Omar, Musa Mohammed, and David Cheche Ochieng to their ranks.

On Friday morning, they confirmed the signing of Kenneth Muguna on a free transfer from Azam FC, before making the exciting Tyson Otieno their second buy of the off-season window from Kariobangi Sharks.

Last season, they also sacked Sammy Pamzo Omollo for Francis Baraza, a league-winning manager with Sony Sugar in 2006, as a statement of intent.

“We want to win the league.  We want to thank our sponsors (for giving us the resources to spend)  and we appeal for more,” Onguso said.

African football governing body released a list of requirements to all African clubs in June, with one of the demands being that every participating club must have a women’s team next season with Onguso revealing that the club have acquired Police Bullets FC

“We have acquired Police Bullets and we are preparing it to be competitive in next season’s Women Premier League.”

“Our board of trustees have also supported us well, as well as our technical bench and the support of the fans. We promise to give them excellent results and we will make a statement from the 24th of July when we commence pre-season.”

Police will fancy themselves to have all the tools needed to make that dream a reality next season.
