Bidco United coach laments their worst performance in a draw against Murang’a Seal, aiming for redemption and success ahead.

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia expressed his disappointment following the lackluster 0-0 draw against Murang’a Seal in a recent clash in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).

The encounter, played at Kasarani Annex on a Sunday afternoon, left Akhulia questioning his team's commitment and performance on the field.

Bidco, who have shown promise in previous matches, struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game.

Seal, on the other hand, came out of the gate with determination, dominating the first half and creating multiple scoring opportunities.

Sharif Musa and John Kiplagat, in particular, came agonisingly close to putting Seal in the lead but were unable to capitalise on their chances.

Coach Akhulia did not mince words when assessing his team's performance, stating, "We played poorly, and this was one of the worst matches we have had since the beginning of the league.

"Murang’a Seal deserved to win; they were better than us in many aspects during the first half. They were more committed to the game and displayed the attitude and mentality needed to win the match."

Despite their lackluster first-half performance, Bidco showed signs of improvement in the second half. With the introduction of John Owira in the midfield, the team became more organised and began to create scoring opportunities of their own.

Akhulia believes that they should have secured the victory, lamenting, "We should have won the match."

The draw leaves Bidco in sixth position on the league table with ten points. While they have won two matches and drawn four, they have only suffered one loss so far this season. Remarkably, the team has demonstrated solid defensive capabilities, conceding only five goals while managing to score seven.

Despite their current league standing, Bidco remains a team to watch in the league. With some adjustments and renewed determination, they have the potential to climb higher in the rankings and contend for the top spot.

As the season progresses, football enthusiasts and fans of Bidco eagerly await the team's next performance aganist Gor Mahia.

Akhulia and his players will undoubtedly be working hard on their weaknesses and focusing on turning their recent draw into a catalyst for success in the upcoming matches.
