Bidco United and Murang'a Seal clashed in the FKF Premier League, with both teams failing to claim crucial victory.

Bidco United recorded their fourth draw of the season in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League when they were held to a goalless draw by Murang’a Seal in a match played at Kasarani Annex on Sunday afternoon.

Antony Akhulia’s  men were searching for their first win in three matches with the in-form Samuel Ndungu starting upfront for the Thika-based side.

On the other hand, Gabriel Njoroge was keen to ensure his side won their third consecutive league win and  Dennis Kweyu ear headed the Seals  attack.

Sharrif Musa had the home side’s first opportunity, thanks to some ingenuity as his chipped effort flew just over the bar.

However, it was  Bonface Munyasa, who was first to be tested. Bidco winger Martin Mbugua took advantage of some sloppy defending before firing a shot at the Murang’a goal which was superbly kept out by Munyasa at his near post.

Although Bidco were enjoying the bulk of possession, they were lucky to escape the first 20 minutes of the game unscathed as Seal attacker Sharif Musa  hit the upright following a well-worked move.

John Otieno had a busy afternoon as he single-handedly kept Bidco in the game. The Oilers shot stopper made a fantastic block to deny Seal midfielder John Kiplagat from outside the box before once again thwarting the opposition attack minutes later.

Bidco searched towards the breakthrough ten minutes into the second half after Samuel Ndungu’s cross found  Sharrif Musa , who went off target from close range.

On the hour mark some nice build up play by the away side saw John Mwita in a bit of space outside the box but he struck it very well but could only find the side netting.

Ten minutes later, Kiplagat  had space to carry the ball up the pitch before finding Wilson Kamau out wide and the winger cut inside and shot with his left foot, but his effort was tame and easily saved by Bonface Munyasa.

Bidco, on the other hand, looked dangerous down the wings and were cutting through the Seal defense with ease.

Muranga’ Seal's lackluster approach in midfield was also not helping their cause as they appeared devoid of ideas. Bidco kept their opponents on the backfoot with time running out.

Bidco had a chance to grab a late winning goal, but  Seal  keeper Bonface Munyasa produced a fine save to deny Daniel Omondi

Ultimately, the match ended in a goalless draw with Seal holding hosts Bidco at Kasarani Annex.
