The 26-year-old made the switch from Everton to Craven's Cottage in the summer, and in Monday night's Premier League action against Gary O'Neil's Wolves, his goal and overall performance inspired his team to victory.

The Nigerian international opened the scoring in the five-goal thriller, finding the back of the net as early as the seventh minute to hand his team a swift advantage.

In the 22nd minute, however, Iwobi's effort was nullified as Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha restored parity.

The second-half of the game was drama-filled as it staged three penalties, all of which were dispatched professionally. Ex-Chelsea Willian was sent to the spot-kick area first after the referee awarded Fulham a penalty, and the winger made no mistake, sending the ball past Jose Sa.

Korean forward Hwang Hee-Chan was next, this time for Wolves, and the former Salzburg man made no mistake in his attempt to restore parity. Fulham will have the last laugh, however, as the third penalty of the half was awarded to the hosts. It was Willian vs Sa again, and for the second time, the Brazilian came up top in the battle of nerves.
