AFC Leopards head coach Thomas Trucha has challenged his charges not to take struggling Shabana for granted ahead of their FKF Cup affair.

AFC Leopards boss Tomas Trucha is adamant that their upcoming cup match against Shabana stands as a pivotal moment in their journey towards ending their thirst for continental football.

Leopards will face wounded Shabana knowing league form counts for nothing, with cup football all about who turns up better for the day.

He has warned his charges not to underestimate Sammy Omollo ‘Pamzo’’s charges.

"It’s a tough match," Coach Trucha said,  resonating with a mixture of determination and caution.

"We must definitely forget where Shabana FC is in the league. It’s a cup game. 90 minutes to be happy or beaten. A different approach to the game is needed."

The importance of the match to the team is undeniable. "We are all hungry to win this cup," Coach Trucha declared

This hunger, this thirst for victory, serves as the driving force propelling his team forward, pushing them to exceed their own limitations and seize the coveted prize.

But victory does not come without preparation. Coach Trucha has eludicated the meticulous planning that has gone into readying his team for the battle ahead.

"We had week one to recover from league fatigue, week two to recharge batteries, and week three to prepare the team for this match."

Despite the absence of five key players due to national team duties, the remaining squad has toiled relentlessly, honing their skills and fortifying their resolve.

Yet, amidst the tactical drills and physical conditioning, Coach Trucha has not forgotten the most potent weapon in their arsenal: the fans.

"Kindly come in numbers, fill the stadium, make noise, give us your energy and passion," he implored.
