Inter Milan are likely to let the goalkeeper leave if their valuation is met.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to pay €50 million in order to acquire Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

The Cameroonian is viewed as a potential replacement for David De Gea, but United will wait and see how De Gea's situation is before making the move.

Onana is also a target for Chelsea, and Inter Milan would consider letting the goalkeeper leave if they could get €50 million in fees.

Following an impressive run that also saw the Serie A side reach the Champions League final, Onana has attracted interest from various clubs.

On the other hand, Inter Milan will not easily let the former Ajax goalkeeper leave, as they see him as a prime asset. But he can also be a big source of funds, and if a better bid comes in, a move will possibly be sanctioned.

Chelsea were leading in the race, but the price of the goalkeeper saw the Premier League side cool their interest. But they are expected to intensify their search for a goalkeeper given that Edouard Mendy may leave and Kepa Arizabalaga did not have an impressive performance last season. So looking for a number one is set to top their transfer priority.

With the price becoming an issue for Chelsea, Manchester United are now in pole position to sign Onana.

Erik ten Hag worked with Onana at Ajax, and the Ducth manager will be eager to reunite with the goalkeeper. Should De Gea leave and no one sign as replacement, the Red Devils will be left with Dean Henderson as their number one goalkeeper.
