The forward joined the club in 2021 from NSL side Mwatate United.

Cornelius Juma has bid farewell to Kenya Police FC after mutually parting ways with the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) moneybags.

Juma, who joined the Law Enforcers on a two-year deal, mutually parted ways with the club following the expiration of his contract.

Taking to his social media, the former Mwatate United attacker penned a farewell message to Police FC, expressing his gratitude for all the support he received during his time with the club.

“Amazing family it was.. memories to tag along.. wishing you all the best as you push for the title..all the best Police FC new challenge accepted,” he wrote.

The 27-year-old has since signed for National Super League (NSL) side Shabana FC who are chasing promotion back to the top flight.

Juma was among six players released by Police FC, including Faustine Ojiambo, David Otieno, John Ndirangu, James Kibande, and Bonphas Munyasa.

The 2020/2021 National Super League (NSL) Golden Boot winner is boss Sammy Okoth’s fifth major signing of the mid-season.

Maurice Dukuly, Erick Ongiri, George Onyango, and Eric Mutoro have already signed for the Glamour Boys.

Shabana are yet to release an official statement regarding the capture of Juma or any player movements from within their camp.

Juma is an experienced forward who previously turned out for top-flight sides Sofapaka FC and Mount Kenya United.

At Police FC the striker was transformed into a right-back after moving to the club in 2021.
