Noah Lyles shares a brief but impactful review of Michael B. Jordan’s new film Sinners, sparking curiosity and discussion online.

American sprinter Noah Lyles has revealed more than just his speed on the track lately, grabbing attention with a candid film review.

The 100m Olympic champion took to social media to share his thoughts on Sinnersa, a new horror thriller starring Michael B. Jordan.

The movie, directed by Black Panther filmmaker Ryan Coogler, premiered on April 3 and hit theaters nationwide on April 18.

Jordan plays dual roles as twin brothers Smoke and Stack, who return to their Mississippi hometown seeking a fresh start—only to be met with a darker force lurking in the shadows.

Hailee Steinfeld stars alongside him as Mary, with supporting roles by Li Jun Li, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, and Jayme Lawson.

“Sinners 9/10,” Lyles wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter “Truly a great movie”

Lyles' cinematic taste is not the only thing catching attention these days.

On his podcast Beyond the Records, where he recently sat down with fellow U.S. sprinters Grant Holloway and Rai Benjamin, Lyles gave his thoughts on the ongoing Grand Slam Track series—an innovation in track and field launched by legendary sprinter Michael Johnson.

Though Lyles skipped the opening leg in Kingston, Jamaica, he made it clear he is keeping a close eye on how the series develops.

“I’m watching it and I’m studying it,” he said as per SportsKeeda.

“I’m trying to figure out what I like about it what I don’t like about it. You know and then say, okay now we have what they did in Jamaica. What would you like to see them carry over to Miramar or what would you like to see them progress at in Miramar.”

The Grand Slam Track series resumes in Miramar, Florida, from May 2 to May 4, before heading to Philadelphia (May 30–June 1) and concluding in Los Angeles from June 27 to 29.

Lyles' combination of athletic dominance and cultural engagement sets him apart.

Not only is he the fastest American ever in the 200 meters—clocking 19.31 seconds, just behind legends Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake—but he is also emerging as a voice that resonates beyond the track.
