American sprint sensation Kenny Bednarek has revealed attribute about Usain Bolt he would like to gain as he eyes glory at the upcoming Olympic games in Paris.
Olympic silver medallist Kenny Bednarek wants to emulate Jamaican legend Usain Bolt as he eyes his second Olympic Games coming up later this year in Paris, France.
Despite never meeting him, Bednarek looks up to the double world record holder and wants to win as many Olympic titles as Bolt did.
In an interview with Olympics.com, the talented American explained that he always looked up to Bolt growing up and it would be nice if he picked his brain.

As much as he tries to following in the footsteps of the multiple world and Olympic champion, Bednarek is also trusting his own process as well as believing in his coach and the whole team working around the clock to see him succeed.

“I've never met him, but, Usain is somebody that I looked up to as a kid and [it'd] just be nice just to pick his brain and know his thoughts and just see how he was able to accomplish everything he did.
“I just know all the work that I put in to help me reach this moment. I trust my coach, my technique, and everybody else who has supported me. The confidence is through the roof, and all that I need to do is execute,” Bednarek told Olympics.com.
The former world 200m silver medallist also picked up wise words from his mother, who always insists on humility and Bednarek noted that he always tells his mother to remind him if he gets too cocky.
"[My mum] always told me to stay humble. I've always told her to let me know, too like, 'Hey, mom, if I ever get too cocky, just let me know.' Because I don't want to change just because I get more fame, more money.
"That's the one thing that just stuck with me. If I ever get a little too cocky, she always reminds me, and I appreciate her for that,” Bednarek added.
