Seven-time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC endured yet another far-from-pleasant evening after suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Wakiso Giants FC on Wednesday.

The Red Eagles were beaten at their backyard, the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku by a team that had suffered defeats in two successive games.

On the evening under the scorching sun in the capital, Samson Kigozi, Kenneth Kimera and Sharif Kimbowa netted for Wakiso Giants.

Joshua Musoke and Yasser Mugerwa scored Express's consolations on the day.

With the result, Express are now eighth with 29 points in 21 games, while Wakiso Giants are 12th with 23.

Elsewhere, Mbarara City FC ran riot against Gaddafi FC as they trumped them 5-0 at the Kakyeka Stadium.

Sadat Nsubuga,Benson Muhindo, Joseph Akandanwaho and a Pius Wangi brace ensured maximum points for the Ankore Lions in stunning fashion.

With the result, Mbarara are now ninth on thw log with 27 points in 20 matches, while Gaddafi are 13th with 18.
