Victor Osimhen: Super Eagles star shows love to AFCON visiting Napoli fans

In anticipation of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Napoli supporters have traveled to Abidjan, the capital of Cote d'Ivoire, to cheer on Osimhen.

In a brief video that was uploaded on the Super Eagles' X account, the 25-year-old was seen interacting with the supporters.

Looking forward to the game, Osimhen is one of the few available strikers for the Super Eagles

In addition, the injuries to important players Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Boniface, and Sadiq Umar have severely damaged the team's chances.

It is anticipated that Osimhen will spearhead the Super Eagles attack in this year's competition.

He made his debut at the 2019 edition of AFCON in Egypt, therefore this will be his second trip to Africa's premier soccer championship.

The Eagles' opening Group A match takes place at Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan versus Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14, 2023.

Also, the three-time AFCON winners will meet Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau in the group.

This year's competition between Guinea-Bissau and Côte d'Ivoire will begin on Saturday, January 13.
