Victor Osimhen: Al Hilal begin negotiation for former PSG striker after failing to convince Super Eagles star

Al Hilal have reportedly identified Fiorentina striker Moise Kean as a backup option, with Galatasaray edging closer to securing a sensational deal for their first-choice target, Victor Osimhen.

Al Hilal eye Kean

According to a report from Italian publication Calciomercato, the Blue Waves have made direct contact with Kean’s representatives to discuss a possible move this summer.

Per the report, Kean has a €52 million release clause which expires on July 11, and Al Hilal are racing against time to seal the deal before the clause’s validity runs out.  

A few seasons ago, Kean was one of the top prospects of Italian football after he broke out at Juventus. However, his career tailed off, and the move to the Premier League did not help.

He joined Fiorentina last summer, and he showed his quality, scoring 19 league goals, with only Atalanta’s Retegui outscoring him in the Serie A.
