URA set to host Vipers, remainder of the season at Lugogo
Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC are slated to host Vipers SC at KCCA FC's eternal grounds, the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The two were set to host the reigning Uganda Premier League champions on March 30, at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi, but are now likely to play host in Lugogo.
According to yet-to-be-confirmed sources, Mehta Stadium is set to be turned into a Cricket Ground.
MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo is already home to not only KCCA but also NEC FC and FUFA Regional League side Proline FC.
URA has in the past hosted matches at Nakisunga Grounds, Mandela National Stadium, Namboole, and the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
Meanwhile, over two weeks back, Wakiso Giants FC hosted their home game against Vipers at the latter's grounds, St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, with the former losing 4-0.
It should be recalled that in the first round, Vipers comfortably beat URA 2-0, courtesy of Abdu Lumala and Erik Kenzo Kambale.
