Uganda Premier League newbies to face Tanzanian side in friendly
The newly-promoted StarTimes Uganda Premier League side NEC FC will test their readiness for the season against Kagera Sugar from Tanzania.
NEC was promoted to the topflight alongside Kitara FC and Mbarara City FC after emerging one of the best three sides from the FUFA Big League.
The club recently embarked on a new journey under the leadership of coach Hussein Mbalangu who took oer from Michael Lukyamuzi.
“We are set to face Kagera Sugar FC from Tanzania in our first-ever international friendly match,” the club confirmed.

The match will be hosted at the KCCA FC stadium in Lugogo on August 6th.
Kagera Sugar is home to Ugandan trio Hamis Diego Kizza, defender Deus Bukenya and wing-back Dissan Galiwango who joined recently.
