Trouble in MLS as player headbutts on loan Premier League defender in the face
Following a scuffle for the ball between MLS teams FC Cincinnati and Kansas during a Leagues Cup match, tensions escalated.
Mosquera, a defender on loan from Wolves, was spotted dribbling to the side of the field before being tackled as Pulido exerted pressure on him to win the ball.
The Mexican player was pushed away by Mosquera as they were entwined on the ground.
Sporting Kansas star player Alan Pulido was sent off by the referee after heading Yerson Mosquera's face in the 34th minute.
How it happened and fans' reaction

Mosquera was left reeling from the collision, clutching his face, and referee Daniel Quinitero Huitron was forced to show Pulido the red card.
After a 3-3 stalemate in regulation, Cincinnati took the game to penalties and won it 4-2 after a 98th-minute equaliser.
MLS fans on social media reacted to the incident involving both players and the Sun reported their response.
Reacting to the shocking incident, one fan tweeted, "Lost his mind there."

But, other supporters thought Mosquera should have received a warning as well. One fan wrote, "Another guy deserves one for the push."
