Bournemouth’s Nketiah interest

According to talkSPORT, the Cherries are in the market for a new forward after losing their top scorer to another Premier League side, and Nketiah, despite being an Arsenal academy product, is available for a transfer having struggled for regular playing time in North London.

While Marseille were initially interested in Nketiah, negotiations reportedly broke down over the transfer fee,  thus opening the door for Bournemouth to explore a potential deal for the English striker.

Arsenal are believed to be seeking a fee in the region of £50 million for the striker, who has shown glimpses of his talent at his boyhood club, notching 38 goals in 168 appearances despite being a bit-part player at the Emirates Stadium.

What comes next?

Bournemouth travel to Nottingham Forest in their Premier League opener at the City Ground on August 17.
