Tottenham reject Bayern Munich latest bid for Harry Kane
Bayern's initial offer of €70 million plus add-ons for Kane was turned down in June, and at the beginning of July, a second, higher offer was also rejected.
Despite the rejected bid, both parties continued to negotiate a possible deal and met in London last week.
Bayern decided to put in another offer for the Tottenham forward but reports claim that the latest offer has been rejected by the club.
Tottenham rejects Bayern bid, tell them to try again
Another attempt by the Bundesliga champions to sign the 30-year-old before the start of the new season has been rejected.
According to David Ornstein on Twitter via The Athletic, “Bayern Munich have seen the latest offer for Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham.
“After proposals in June + July were turned down #FCBayern were £25m short of #THFC valuation. Talks last week led to improved bids but that has now been knocked back too.”
Bayern are still interested in the player, and club officials are slated to meet on Monday to discuss transfer developments.
Tottenham are still hoping to persuade Kane to extend his current deal in north London as he enters the final 12 months of it.
Kane participated in Tottenham's summer trip to Australia and Singapore, and he started preseason training with the club again on July 12.
He is presently preparing for Tottenham's opening-day Premier League match against Brentford on Sunday, August 13.
