What Guti said

Speaking on DAZN, as cited by Madrid Universal, Guti emphasised that regular minutes are essential for a young player’s development.

“If he doesn’t get any opportunities between now and December, I think his best option is to leave so he can continue to grow. For a young player, the best thing is to get playing time,” Guti said.

The former Madrid star stressed that waiting too long for an opportunity could stunt the 18-year-old’s progress, adding that a short-term move could be the “best option” to help him adapt to European football and maintain momentum in his career.

Despite manager Xabi Alonso’s assurances that Endrick’s time will come, the Brazilian remains behind Rodrygo, Brahim Díaz, and academy talent Gonzalo García in Madrid’s attacking hierarchy.

“You never know what can happen, injuries or changes in form could open doors. But right now, it doesn’t seem to be the coach’s priority to use him,” Guti said.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid are considering a loan move to accelerate Endrick’s development, potentially to another La Liga side or a European club where he could play regularly.

However, Endrick’s representatives reportedly prefer to remain in Madrid, believing that the youngster will eventually earn Alonso’s trust and secure his first-team breakthrough.
