Man United fans are having a serious meltdown on social media amid Rashford's imminent departure from the club.

Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United appears to be coming to an emotional close, as the forward prepares for a shock loan move to Aston Villa.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached for Villa to cover 70 percent of Rashford’s staggering £325,000-a-week salary, with a £40 million option to make the deal permanent.

Romano further reports that if all goes well, Rashford could sign a potential three-and-a-half-year deal at Villa Park at the end of the season.

This move comes after weeks of speculation surrounding the England international’s strained relationship with United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim.

The tension had left Rashford frozen out of the squad for nearly two months, raising serious doubts about his future at the club.
