Tanzanian stopped from boxing after a knockout by Golola, ordered to take Medical checkup
Golola sent Mandonga to sleep in the third round on July 29, 2023, in a non-title bout in Mwanza City.
According to ZBC Zanzibar, The Commission of Paid Boxing in Tanzania (TPBRC) has ordered Mandonga to undergo a medical checkup.
"The Commission of Paid Boxing in Tanzania (TPBRC) has temporarily locked boxer Karim Mandonga for a medical checkup," ZBC Zanzibar reported before adding.
"TPBRC has said that paid boxing boxer Karim Mandonga will not participate in boxing until he is tested for his health due to being beaten by TKO in his fight with Moses Golola from Uganda that took place on July 29, 2023, in Mwanza city."
Mandonga will only be allowed back in the ring once they ascertain his medical fitness.
Before the Golola fight, Mandonga suffered a knockout against Kenya's Daniel Wanyonyi. A week later, he hosted Golola, who showcased superior skills in the ring and delivered a dish.
The Tanzanian has ten fights to his name and registered six wins and four losses.
