The 24-year-old midfielder confirmed his departure from the South African side two weeks after speculation surrounding his future at the club emerged in various media outlets in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Taking to social media, Yidah expressed his gratitude to the Marumo Gallants family for embracing him as their own throughout the past year.

"Thank you Marumo Gallants family for being my home for the past year. As our time together comes to an end, I appreciate everything and wish you all the best next season !" he posted.

Yidah's journey with Gallants began in August 2022 when he joined the team, aiming to make a significant impact on the field.

However, despite his dedication and talent, he struggled to secure regular Premier Soccer League (PSL) starts.

Throughout the season, Yidah's appearances were limited, and he was included in the match-day squad only six times.

Prior to his stint with Gallants, Yidah had showcased his skills and potential in the Kenyan football scene.

Starting his career at Ligi Ndogo Academy, he soon caught the attention of the top-flight side Kariobangi Sharks and joined them in January 2016.

Yidah's exceptional performances earned him recognition, and in September 2020, he made a move to Nairobi City Stars, where he featured in 59 matches and found the back of the net three times.
