The official announcement of Sporting's fourth signing for 2025/2026 is now imminent, following midfielder Kochorashvili, winger Alisson, and goalkeeper João Virgínia.
Sporting's management has secured Gyokeres' replacement. Colombian forward Luis Suárez is a Lion until 2030, signing a five-year contract.
Last season's top scorer in the Spanish second division with 27 goals (31 in all competitions, including two Copa del Rey ties), Suárez joins 20-year-old Conrad Harder among the strikers available to Rui Borges, who has also utilized Rodrigo Ribeiro from the B team.
Sporting secured the deal with Almeria for €20 million, plus €5 million in performance-based bonuses.
