Jurgen Klopp has opened up about the swirling rumours connecting PSG's star Kylian Mbappé with a sensational move to the Premier League giants. 

As Liverpool geared up for a crucial clash against Brentford, Klopp shed light on the complexities of securing a deal for the French sensation.

Jurgen Klopp, in his signature candid style, addressed the elephant in the room during his pre-match press briefing. On the topic of Mbappé, he remarked, “Obviously, I’m not involved in that, but I can tell you I’d be surprised if all the top clubs were. The top clubs I know, for most of them it will be tricky – wages, signing-on fee…” 

This statement seemingly cools down the heated speculations about Mbappé donning the Liverpool jersey next season, despite reports from Le Parisien suggesting the 25-year-old World Cup winner wasn't averse to the idea.

The saga takes a twist with Mbappé reportedly informing his PSG comrades of his intention to exit the Parisian outfit once his current contract runs its course at season's end.
