In the video, Ekong talked about the importance of following the instructions given in training under the new head coach Eric Chelle.
He stressed that the team is in good spirits and they are focused on getting a good result.
Born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and a Nigerian mother, Troost-Ekong pledged his allegiance to the Super Eagles in 2015.
He led a batch of foreign-born players to camp in Kigali as they stepped up preparation for the game.
It is expected to be a tight encounter as Rwanda played out a draw in Kigali and won in Nigeria when both teams faced off in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
