Juventus are reportedly keen to bring Karim Adeyemi to Italy after two seasons with Borussia Dortmund

The Germany international joined the Bundesliga outfit in the summer of 2023 after thriving in the Austrian Bundesliga with Salzburg, and the 22-year-old has had a mixed time in North Rhine-Westphalia.

While significant trophies have eluded BVB in both seasons, year one was commendable for Adeyemi but the concluded season fell short of expectations.

However, a below-par second season with Dortmund has not deterred Juventus, who are rumoured to be interested in the young forward.

Adeyemi is a transfer interest of Juventus

According to a report in the Gazzetta, the Old Lady are considering the German as a possible replacement for Federico Chiesa, whose future in Turin is still being determined.

The report claims the Bianconeri may include players in the deal to drive down Dortmund's €30m asking price.

Furthermore, the other Italian sources state that the Old Lady have lined up alternatives if Adeyemi is beyond the club's reach, with Chelsea's Noni Madueke, Lille's Edon Zhegrova and Wolfsburg's Patrick Wimmer also on Juventus’ shortlist of wide options.

What comes next?

Any deal could be contingent on Chiesa’s departure, and how things develop over the coming weeks or months remains to be seen.
