Remo Stars Academy boys smash WAEC with 98% success rate
Beyond Limits Football Academy has confirmed that their youngsters have passed the West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, with flying colours.
The club confirmed the news through their official social media page on Friday afternoon.
Remo Stars youngsters have shown there is more to them than just their outstanding performances on the pitch.
Remo boys Beyond the pitch
In the last few months, the academy boys have represented their club and country across the world, putting up excellent performances.
Beyond Limits recently, however, finished second in the competitive Valuejet Cup, a pre-season tournament for NPFL sides.
The No Limits boys made it out of a group that included former Nigerian champions, Rivers United, Shooting Stars and Abia Warriors.
Beyond Limits won one and drew two of the matches before seeing off Kwara United on penalties after an enthralling 2-2 draw in the semifinals to pick a ticket to the final.
They eventually fell 2-0 in the final against Shooting Stars, who proved a hard nut for the under-18 lads.
WAEC show
24 hours after the game against the Oluyole Warriors, the club has now confirmed an excellent performance from the youngsters but this time off the pitch.
14 of the Beyond Limits boys have smashed their WAEC with an incredible 98 per cent record per the club.
“FOOTBALL MEETS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE,” the club posted on social media platform, X.com.
“14 of our academy boys took the recent WAEC examinations with a 98% success rate recorded. However, two of the boys were unable to complete the exams as they were part of the Future Eagles that represented Nigeria in Japan. “
“The rest of our boys are writing NECO, GCE this year and WAEC again next year,” the club added in a separate post.
“It may interest you to know that they played games at the #ValueJetCup23 after leaving exam hall and still finished second against NPFL teams.”
