Premier League: Chelsea star set for bumper salary boost as reward for fine form
Chelsea are reportedly set to give Cole Palmer a substantial pay increase following his impressive performances since joining the club last summer.
Palmer has exceeded expectations since his £42.5 million move from Manchester City, taking on the mantle of creator-in-chief for Mauricio Pochettino's men.
New Chelsea deal in the works for Cole Palmer
Palmer has been unstoppable this season, scoring 13 goals in 33 games, and providing 11 assists for the Londoners.
Those numbers look certain to secure him a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s European Championships.
According to Daily Star, Palmer, 21, currently earns just under £100k a week and will reportedly see his wage increase to over £150k.
Elsewhere, Chelsea have reportedly fallen behind in the race to sign Victor Osimhen, as Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain lead the charge.
